Welcome to my personal website.

I’m Architect Mohamad Kabbara — but most people know me simply as Mo, I’m a Dutch-Lebanese architect, project manager leader, and business strategist with over 15 years of international experience delivering impactful projects across Europe, the Middle East, and Africa.

As a seasoned professional in the dynamic field of energy and climate, I bring nearly seven years of expertise at the intersection of technology, policy, and markets. I’m passionate about driving the global shift towards a sustainable future.

My journey has been marked by a deep understanding of key areas in the energy landscape, including transportation electrification, renewable energy, energy storage, and energy efficiency. I am also recognized for my profound insights into zero-emission vehicle supply chain matters at British Petroleum BP.

One of my proudest accomplishments is being part of the BP Pulse team, an alliance in BeNeLux and France dedicated to advancing the zero-emission vehicle supply chain. Here, we foster collaboration between private and public sector entities to harness BeNeLux’s and the French potential in global zero-emission mobilities.

Before my tenure at BP, I served as a project specialist consultant at AECOM-Shell Netherlands and worked as a projects coordinator at the Design Department Buildings and Places. Additionally, I founded the Mo Kabbara Architecture Design Studio startup in The Netherlands, where I pursued my architectural passion. Prior to relocating to the Netherlands in 2016, I was a full-time lecturer at various universities in Lebanon.

My professional interests and expertise span a wide range, including Energy Transition, Mobility Hubs, EV Chargers, Business Development, Project Management, Renewables, Architecture and Design, Strategic Planning, Project Development, Urban Development, Circular Economy, Coordination, Renewable Energy Consultancy, Community Development, and Research and Feasibility Studies.

This website presents a curated selection of projects from over 15 years of experience in architecture and urban planning. It reflects a journey of design exploration, commitment to meaningful spaces, and a belief in the power of architecture to shape better futures.

About my Architectural Office:

MO.Kabbara Architecture Design Studio was founded in 2010 in Tripoli, Lebanon. Since its inception, the bureau has engaged globally in addressing contemporary architectural and urban challenges through creative, research-based solutions. The studio’s collaborative design process involves clients, stakeholders, and experts from diverse disciplines from the earliest stages of a project. The outcomes are distinctive and thoughtful works that contribute to more resilient and imaginative urban futures.

The studio’s portfolio spans a broad spectrum—from buildings of all scales to master plans, construction, installations, lighting design, interiors, branding, advertising, and visual arts.

Our design bureau was everything but bureaucratic. We pursued a utopian vision grounded in optimism, dedication, and creativity. To us, design is sacred—not just a visual language but a transformative force that elevates the ordinary into the extraordinary. We see design as a catalyst for sustainability, beauty, and social progress.

At the heart of our practice lies a commitment to harmony, honesty, and professionalism. Our work is fueled by critical reflection, existential curiosity, a good dose of humor, and an unwavering belief in designing for the better.

I am pleased to share this bouquet of architectural works with you. For us, nothing is more fulfilling than delivering design that resonates—visually, emotionally, and ethically.
